breakdown of my morning
woke up and got to lab so that i’d have enough time to do an rna extraction before having to leave early. realize they’re calibrating pipettes today… can’t do an rna extraction without pipettes. sit around for an hour on facebook waiting for pipettes. realize i won’t be able to finish anything before i have to leave, still waiting for pipettes. leave super early.

so i did a triathlon this weekend.
here’s the highlight reel:
bike: a 20-mile, super-hilly course. i ended up biking an 18-mile, moderately-hilly course because i got LOST with a small group of other bikers.
kayak: it was SO windy and cold and wet and miserable.. the worst leg fo’ sho’. but at least a) it wasn’t a swim and b) i didn’t capsize (which a number of other people did).
